   Proposal Description:
   In the past, a study has linked the risk of developing AD in later years with having Stage 3 hypertension and above (systolic blood pressure of 160 mm Hg or higher) during midlife (Kivipelto, 2001). Yet, there is very little known about the possible risks of Stage 1-2 hypertension (121-159 mm Hg) on AD. Therefore,   more investigation should be done to fully understand the risks of Stage 1-2 hypertension on the development of AD.
